ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini berawal dari usaha manajemen kampus untuk memenuhi salah satu persyaratan tata kelola pendidikan tinggi yaitu pemberian umpan balik mahasiswa atas sarana, proses pembelajaran dan pelayanan yang dilakukan kampus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa Akademi Kesehatan John Paul II angkatan 2014 (semester genap) tahun pembelajaran 2014 – 2015, Data yang diperoleh diolah untuk mengetahui pengaruh sarana yang disediakan kampus terhadap Indeks Prestasi Semester (IPS) Mahasiswa. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui : (1) pengaruh sarana yang disediakan kampus terhadap IPS mahasiswa, (2) pengaruh pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran yang diselenggarakan kampus terhadap IPS mahasiswa, (3) pengaruh pelayanan yang diselenggarakan kampus terhadap IPS mahasiswa dan (4) pengaruh sarana, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan pelayanan secara bersama – sama terhadap IPS mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu menjelaskan hubungan antar variabel dengan menganalisis data numerik (angka) menggunakan metode statistik melalui program SPSS versi 21. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey crossectional yaitu pengumpulan data sekaligus pada suatu saat (point time approach). Berdasarkan hasil uji t diperoleh bahwa (1) sarana yang disediakan kampus berpengaruh signifikan terhadap IPS mahasiswa; (2) pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran yang diselenggarakan kampus berpengaruh signifikan terhadap IPS mahasiswa dan (3) pelayanan yang diselenggarakan kampus berpengaruh signifikan terhadap IPS mahasiswa. Selain itu, melalui uji F diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa sarana, proses pembelajaran dan pelayanan secara bersama – sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap IPS mahasiswa.

ABSTRACT

This study was based upon the writer’s effort to meet one of the requirements of higer education management, i.e. student’s feedback on educational facilities, teaching-learning process, and services provided by the campus. Data were collected with questionnaire which was distributed to the class of 2014 students (second semester), academic year 2014 – 2015 at AKJP II. The data which were obtained were subsequently analyzed to find out the effect of educational facilities, teaching-learning process, and campus services to student’s Grade Point Avarage (GPA). The purposes of this study were to find out: (1) the effect of educational facilities provided by the campus to student’s Grade Point Average, (2) the effect of teaching-learning process carried out by the campus to student’s Grade Point Average, (3) the effect of campus services to student’s Grade Point Average, and (4) the effect of educational facilities, teaching-learning process, and campus serivices altogether to student’s Grade Point Average. This study was descriptive quantitative study which pointed out the relationship of each variable by analyzing numerical data with statistics, by means of SPSS program version 21. The method of this study was cross-sectional survey which collects data at one specific time (point time approach). The T-test showed that (1) educational facilities provided by the campus significantly affected the student’s Grade Point Average; (2) the teaching-learning process carried out by the campus significantly affected the student’s Grade Point Average, and (3) the campus services significantly affected the student’s Grade Point Average. Furthermore, from the result of T-test, it can be concluded that educational facilities, teaching-learning, and campus services concurrently affected the student’s Grade Point Average.
